STUDIO SAFETY UPDATE
NOVEMBER 2020
It will be almost three months since we first reopened our doors again for us to fly. Thank you for making it an amazing three months of dancing and flying! We are so happy to be able to share this with you again. Thank you for helping us keep our studios safe by following all our guidelines.
We have a studio safety update for some new guidelines and reminders! Know that we are always reevaluating and observing our procedures, to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep you safe. Here is our latest:
Let’s keep our masks on, including during class.
For your safety, for the safety of your fellow classmates, and for the people we are with at home, let’s
keep our masks on in the studios, including during class. Here are some tips for exercising with a mask:
Pay attention to your breathing, and take frequent breaks to catch your breath completely.
Ease into your training, and manage your pace. It’s okay to start slow.
Bring an extra mask [or two or three], in case you have to replace the one you are using due to sweat.
You may remove your mask to drink water [of course!]. Other exceptions: spinning sequences, and aerial silks drops. Wear your mask again after coming down from the apparatus.
Use a mask bracket to create space in your mask for your mouth and nose, for easier breathing.
Please wear your mask safely over your nose and mouth.
After adjusting or fixing your mask, please disinfect your hands before getting back on the apparatus. Alcohol spritzers are available in all studios.
Training without a mask is allowed only in a studio rental session for one [1] person only. Should a space be shared, wear your masks, and observe social distancing in the premises.
The Studio 1 Special Exit is ready.
The old Studio 1 door is now open for exit purposes. You can enjoy your class in Studio 1, and exit through the door behind the shelf, so as not to have to bump into the next batch of students coming in for class. Upon entering the studio, disinfect your shoes with our foot bath, bring in all your items to Studio 1, for easier exit after class. Keep safe, and observe social distancing in the elevators and bathrooms, too!
Observe the three [3] hour window.
For in studio classes, please follow the strict cancellation policy of at least three [3] hours before class. The class will be considered taken should you cancel within three [3] hours of the class.
Class photo fun!
For class photos, and fun poses after class, please try to avoid touching the walls, Polecats logos, and mirrors. If you do end up touching them, please inform your teacher or assist for disinfection.
The floor is also an apparatus.
For classes in Studio 3, treat your floor space as apparatus – stick to your marked area, and make sure you and your classmates avoid crossing paths on the floor.
Here are the updated room limits:
Studio 1 :: 9 students
Studio 2 :: 5 students
Studio 3 :: 10 students for dance/others, 8 students for pole
Contact tracing update :: Let’s use the PasigPass!
In cooperation with the Pasig City Government in contact tracing around the city, let’s create our PasigPass QR Codes for scanning upon entry [in all Pasig establishments, not just in our studio!]
Here’s how it works:
Go to https://pasigpass.pasigcity.gov.ph/ and sign up as an individual.
Fill out require fields. Create a password for your account and submit.
Download or screenshot the QR code that appears on screen, that’s YOUR QR CODE! We recommend you add it as a favorite photo for easy access moving forward.
Upon visiting the studio [and other Pasig establishments!], present your Pasig Pass QR code at the reception to scan for contact tracing.
That’s all for now! Know that we are always updating and reviewing our practices, based on our experiences in the studio, and the latest in Covid-19 research. We hope for your kind understanding and support in observing these new guidelines. Please know that everything we do is for your safety and well-being. Thank you so much!!
